Our interview with Bruncheon Expert Julie Shuford:

In  3 words describe what you do…

Vibrant & Fun Photography

What services do you provide?

Wedding, family portraits and business branding photography.

In 4 sentences or less tell us your story…

I have been photographing weddings since graduating photography school over ten years ago. I started my business with passion for capturing some of the best times and adventures in life. When I added in photographing couples and families in love, everything came full circle and lead me to where I am now. And recently I have been working with a lot of other creatives on their business branding.

When I am not working, I am…

Southern California has always been my home. I was born and raised in San Diego and I now live in Los Angeles with my husband and Shiba Inu – Shadow. I love being outdoors in the sunshine enjoying everything California has to offer – mountains, beach, desert and city life.

I wish every bride and groom knew…

THEY ARE PERFECT JUST HOW THEY ARE! <3

What is your favorite part of wedding day?

It’s so hard to decide my favorite part of the wedding day. It’s either the first look or the recessional when the bride and groom just got married and are walking down the aisle! There is so much emotion and magic in those moments. The anticipation of seeing each other for the first time that day and the calmness that happens right after because we you feel at ease with your person. And then of course all the excitement after you have said your vows and your officially married and walking down the aisle surrounded by your closest family and friends!

What advice would you give bride & grooms to be about wedding day?

I try to help make the wedding day as stress free as possible. And while I realize there will still be stress leading up to the wedding making sure everything goes right. But on your wedding day, just sit back and relax, trust in your planner, photographer and all of your wedding vendors that they are working to make this day so fun and memorable and stress free!
